No Hot Water

No Hot Water but Central Heating is alright

  • Especially in cold weather rather than turning the taps on full turn them so they run slower
  • check the settings and  timer on the boiler make sure set to hot water
  • check that the boiler is switched on
  • check the water pressure and turn up if necessary

With the boiler set to CH and water on the timer setting turn a hot tap on and listen for a click at the boiler and feel if water is going through the pipes is it getting hot. No click? but if you only have hot water to the central heating pipes The diverter valve is not working correctly and needs service or replacement.
